NOG NOG WHO’S THERE?

Let me start by saying I am a very lucky gal, because I have two incredible friends who think that a fun Saturday afternoon activity is making serious eggnog and eating homemade chutney on cheese and crackers…. this was my virgin eggnog making experience and so worth the wait.
I grew up with the premade stuff, my Dad LOVES it, it has no alcohol, but certain brands are kind of okay, didn’t have real eggnog until I was in my 20’s.
If you have never tried real eggnog, put it on your bucket list… sure it’s a little messy, but it is easier than you think, if you can handle a mixer, can crack an egg and hold a funnel, you’re golden. I’m sure there are many recipes out there but this one from my friend Kelly’s ancestor is fairly easy and slightly mind blowing!
-Hmmmm…do I have enuf liquor?
Whip it good!
Just a spoonful of sugar makes the liquor go down…
